Ian Warner

Managing Director

Ian Warne - Managing Director ISW

Ian is the Managing Director of ISW. After 11 years with IBM he left his position as State Manager in Tasmania in 1996 to set up ISW with the ultimate vision was to build a nationally recognised software and services business. Ian works with a very talented team and with his fellow directors the business has grown internationally. Ian now spends more time on strategic issues, corporate governance, compliance, finances, and HR. Ian takes a keen interest in the business culture of ISW and actively maintains key client and stakeholder relationships. Ian is on a number of Boards including a role of Treasurer of TASICT the peak ICT industry body for Tasmania.



Adam Brown

Senior Executive Director - Technology & Business Development

Adam Brown - Executive Director ISW Adam is the Senior Executive Director of ISW and leads ISW’s technology and business development teams. Adam has a Computer Science Degree and Masters of Business and Technology. He has been at ISW since the start in 1996 and has over 16 years experience in IBM technology. Particularly talented in the consultation and application of the Collaboration Solutions/Lotus and Websphere range, Adam has also achieved certification across all IBM software pillars. Adam is often the spearhead behind innovation and research projects at ISW including Kudos Badges for IBM Connections, iWildfire and Wildfire.




Scott Headlam  

Senior Consulting Software & Systems Engineer

Scott Headlam Scott is ISW’s most senior software engineer. This means he gets to tackle the most complex projects, of which he has a comprehensive track record of delivering successful outcomes. Scott has over 12 years experience with IBM technologies, with key experience implementing the large range of Collaboration Solutions/Lotus products, Websphere Portal and Tivoli Storage and Security. He is also extremely well versed in virtualized environments based on VM-Ware. Scott is also responsible for the operations of ISW's Data Centre for IBM Solutions.


Michael Kasteel  

Senior Software Engineer & Consultant

Michael Kasteel - Director Michael is an experienced IBM consultant with over 12 years experience in IBM Collaboration Solutions/Lotus with a focus on WebSphere Portal and Notes/Domino. He has a diverse range of IT skills ranging from consulting, development, administration, networking/communications, security, training, product management and sales. Michael's current role primarily provides our clients with high level support in administration and development to supplement the skills of our clients.






Adrian Bold 

National Marketing Manager

After working as a graphic designer in ISW's early years whilst studying at university, Adrian has recently returned as National Marketing Manager. Bringing over 12 years of business management and entrepreneurial experience along with a Commerce/International Marketing degree, Adrian manages the ISW brand and marketing strategy. Adrian quickly rolled out a fresh brand identity to align the company with its future focus, and is responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns for the sales team; managing a variety of B2B lead generation initiatives in conjunction with IBM Australia.

Mark Anderson  

Mark Anderson

Mark has been a sales professional since 1985 and has experience in a variety of IT roles both in Australia and England, including Account Manager, Product Manager and Business Development. With a Bachelor of Economics from UTAS and breadth of knowledge gained from international corporations including Océ Australia Limited, Acer Computer and IBM Australia, Mark has a wealth of ITC experience to offer. He is passionate about virtualisation, business collaboration and business analytics.




John Baragwanath  

John Baragwanath John is proud to have made selling a life career.  After a decade's service in the Federal Government leaving in a Senior IT Management role he spent another decade with IBM and significant periods with Compaq and Ungermann Bass in Senior Sales Management roles. John has been a member of the ISW team since 2009. He is passionate about ensuring the total satisfaction of ISW's clients in their technology investment.  John considers every client opportunity to be unique and works tirelessly to exceed expectations with our solutions.  


Theodore Vereker

Theo has a diverse range of skills and experiences accumulated over many years working for major ICT companies including IBM, KAZ Group, Telstra, Optus and Verizon. Theo’s passion is for the client and ensuring that the best possible service is delivered each and every time.  His clients have ranged from the largest multi-national enterprises right down to the smallest of enterprises. He has a strong track record for closely engaging with clients to fully understand their needs and Theo prides himself on his ability to develop long lasting client relationships that are built on trust, integrity and a can-do attitude.  Theo has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne. He has received numerous awards for sales and customer service achievements over the years. Theo is delighted to be a member of the ISW sales team.




Tim Royle  

Executive Director  

Tim Royle Tim is an Executive Director, focused on building ISW's business in NSW. With an Honours Degree in Economics from Nottingham University, Tim has 28 years’ experience in the IT industry.  He has been at ISW since 2006. Tim works with clients around WebSphere, ICS, Tivoli, Rational, Information Management, and Business Analytics. He has worked with IBM since 1991 and has spoken at events such as Collective Intelligence, LCTY, AUSLUG and Lotusphere. Tim is a member of the IBM Social Business IBM Redbooks team.


Wayne Tomlinson

Wayne Tomlinson Wayne has a B.A. Applied Computing degree and over 12 years’ experience in the software industry. Wayne has held a variety of roles including professional service, technical sales, account management and commercial sales. He worked in both Australia and the UK for IBM Software Group for nine years before starting work with IBM Premier Business Partners. Wayne’s career has involved working closely with corporate and mid market customers across a variety of industries where he has delivered complex enterprise wide solutions. Close customer relationships and consultative engagements across multiple IBM Software brands are his focus.

Bo Mabry


After fifteen years of continuous ICT sales and consulting behind him, Bo has worked with mid-market, enterprise and government  organisations and has enormous experience within the IBM Collaboration field, having been a specialist with Lotus, IBM and Cisco in the field.

Bo enjoys having a hand in turning customer challenges into measurable gains, becoming a trusted adviser. He is accomplished in analysing client initiatives and crafting both measurable and customised solutions around their collaboration needs. Bo joins ISW in Queensland.
